<p>Steve of <a href="http://logmyloss.com/" target="_blank">Log My Loss</a> routinely writes down his goals each week and records on his blog  whether or not he achieved said goals. I love this idea, so I am going  to incorporate it into this food diary blog. Although the majority of my  goals will be based on health, they won&#8217;t all be based on nutrition;  they may instead deal with mental health, physical fitness, emotional  health, etc. I will write down my goals at the bottom of each blog post  and make a note beside each goal to assess whether or not I completed it  for the day. I am choosing to do mine day-by-day rather than on a  weekly basis because I find that too many different factors change from  day to day, so this will enable me to stick to the goals.</p>
<p><strong>Today&#8217;s Five Goals</strong></p>
<p>1) Drink a glass of water before eating any meal or snack. <em>Success.</em></p>
<p>2) Do at least 2 hours of exercise. <em>Success.</em></p>
<p>3) Do not exceed 1,500 calories. <em>Success.</em></p>
<p>4) Do some breathing exercises and meditation. <em>Partial success. It was a very short period of meditation. I think it only lasted about 30 seconds. Does that count?</em></p>
<p>5) Organize all papers on desk into files and organize boxes in storage closet.<em> Almost success &#8211; there was a little bit more to do than I expected, so I didn&#8217;t get quite all of it done.</em></p>
