Steve of Log My Loss routinely writes down his goals each week and records on his blog whether or not he achieved said goals. I love this idea, so I am going to incorporate it into this food diary blog. Although the majority of my goals will be based on health, they won’t all be based on nutrition; they may instead deal with mental health, physical fitness, emotional health, etc. I will write down my goals at the bottom of each blog post and make a note beside each goal to assess whether or not I completed it for the day. I am choosing to do mine day-by-day rather than on a weekly basis because I find that too many different factors change from day to day, so this will enable me to stick to the goals.

Today’s Five Goals

1) Drink a glass of water before eating any meal or snack. Success.

2) Do at least 2 hours of exercise. Success.

3) Do not exceed 1,500 calories. Success.

4) Do some breathing exercises and meditation. Partial success. It was a very short period of meditation. I think it only lasted about 30 seconds. Does that count?

5) Organize all papers on desk into files and organize boxes in storage closet. Almost success – there was a little bit more to do than I expected, so I didn’t get quite all of it done.
