- 1 slice Tall Grass Prairie spelt toast with peanut butter, jam, and sliced banana, plus the rest of the banana with peanut butter (450 calories)

- 1 mug peppermint tea (0 calories)

- 1 whole wheat mini pita, a couple carrots, and a few celery sticks with hummus, plus some frozen banana with peanut butter and a mug of peppermint tea (350 calories) Yes I am a little bit obsessed with peanut butter and should probably do something about that addiction…

- 1 apple with (you guessed it) peanut butter, plus 1.5 warmed whole wheat buns with Earth Balance (500 calories)

- 1 glass water (0 calories)

- 3 mugs peppermint tea (0 calories)

- 2 glasses red wine, plus a bowl of homemade red bean and carrot bisque with 1 homemade scone (500 calories) Both the bisque and the scone recipes are adapted from recipes in the Light & Easy cookbook.

Exercise: Cardio: 700 jumping jacks, 3 hours walking; Core (30 reps of each): double crunches, side crunches, bicycle crunches, stability ball crunches, stability ball bridges; Strength Training (10 reps each using 8 lbs dumbbells): lateral raises, front raises, bicep curls with calf raises, shoulder presses with squats, one-arm bent-over rows, overhead triceps extensions, deadlifts, chest presses on stability ball, chest flies on stability ball, plank with rows and leg lifts.

    There are worse addictions.

    Peanut butter is one of my favorites.
